Huaron Mines, Huaron Mining District, San Jose de Huayllay District, Cerro de Pasco, Daniel Alcides Carrión Province, Pasco Department, Peru

Ref.: Rocks & Mins.: 22:321-322. Although collection labels generally refer to the "Huaron mine", it is more properly a mining district, including the following mines: Alianza, Alimon, Andalucia, Cometa, Constancia, Elena, Fastidiosa, Mechita, Patrick, Restauradora, Shiusha, San Narcisco, Travieso, Yanacreston, Yanamina. Most specimens came from the Alimon mine, although strictly speaking the Alimon mine is on the other side of the mountain and not one of the same group of mines.
