There is a tendency among dealers to label any phosphophyllite from Cerro Rico as being from the "Unificada mine", which is nonsense. The "Unificada", which means "unified", was a temporary grouping of several mines under one administration. It does not indicate which part of Cerro Rico a specimen came from, and certainly should not be applied to the recent phosphophyllite specimens mined since the 1990s. Unless the specific mine or vein is known (rarely the case), better to label specimens just with the name of the mountain, "Cerro Rico" or "Cerro de Potosí".
