This vein outcrop is located about 100 m south of the Lossen memorial at the half level of the slope to the Dränge valley and was not mined in earlier times.
It's not clear, if the vein is those from the "Aufgekärtes Glück mine" or if it is the so called "Tunnelgang" (tunnel vein), which was discovered by excavation the railway tunnel.
About 1980 the outcrop was "mined" by local mineral collectors, mainly for (glossy) galena, however the rarer minerals smithsonite, hydrozincite and a bit pyromorphite easy were to pick up at the collector's dump.
Currently the location is hardly to find anymore.
