Fidalgo Mine


A copper-silver-gold mine located inside the Anacortes City Limits, about 1 mile East of the airport, by Cranberry Lake. It worked a weakly mineralized and serpentinized zone 10' wide and exposed for 600' in granodiorite. It produced 1 shipment of ore that was sent to the ASARCO smelter in Tacoma. Development includes 5 shallow shafts and an open cut.
