Kaňkov (German: Ganghof) is a settlement that is part of the village Braňany in the district of Most in the Ústí nad Labem region. It is located at an altitude of 360 meters, about 7 km northeast of the town of Most and 3 km southwest of the town of Bílina. It lies on the eastern slope of Kaňkov hill above the road from Braňany to Bílina. From the road, there is a turnoff to Kaňkov. A red marked hiking trail leads from Bílina to Braňany with a turnoff to the Kaňkov hill.

Kaňkov is a distinctive hill about one kilometer in the Bohemian Central Mountains. It is located north of the village Želenice in the district of Most. It is located on the border of the cadastral territory of Želenice and Kaňkov. Its peak lies at an altitude of 436 m above sea level in the Kaňkov cadastre. From the north, the hill is bordered by a road connecting the village of Braňany with the town of Bílina, behind the road, there is already a landscape marked by mining. At the eastern foot of the hill lies the settlement of the same name. From the south, Kaňkov gradually rises from Želenice and the Bílina River, in the east is the village of Braňany.

Previously, the hill was called Pastýřský, Kyselecký or Ovčí vrch. The peak is a frequent walking destination for spa guests from nearby Bílina. A branch from the red marked hiking trail from Bílina to Braňany leads to the peak. From the rocky peak, a small part of which is not covered with forest, there is a view mainly to the southeast of Bořeň and to the south to the opposite Želenický hill with the villages of Želenice and Zlatník. The north-eastern view of the Mnichovec hill (also called Mnišský les) and the settlement of Kaňkov and the village of Braňany are not made possible by mature trees.

The hill is an important point of the geomorphological district of Bořeňské středohoří. It has the shape of an asymmetrical bell-shaped ridge extending in an east-west direction.

Kaňkov Hill is a source of the natural healing source Bílinská kyselka. This alkaline acid has been collected in shallow wells on the eastern slope of Kaňkov since the 17th century, and during the twentieth century, it was gradually collected using deep boreholes.
