A quarry in talc schist with intercalated amphibolite schist and inclusions of serpentinite. The deposit was worked in the past from an adit (locally known as Marienstollen) and later from a quarry, which has been abandoned in 2004.

Located on the south slope of Föhrenbühl mountain, east of Grötschenreuth. Note that this area is a nature reserve where collecting is prohibited.
