A talc-Ni occurrence/mine Located 16 miles W of Little Rock.
Mineralization is hosted in serpentinized, ultrabasic igneous rocks in Upper Ordovician Pole Creek Shale and Upper and Middle Ordovician Bigfork Chert.
Workings include surface openings comprised of open cuts & pits.
Geology: Nickel found As a minor occurrence in sulfides (pyrrhotite a pyrite) and in silicate (serpentine). Nickel derived from vine, present in original ultrabasic intrusive, during serpentization.
