This is a small historic goldfield, approximately 20 kilometres east south-east of Fields Find, and 30 kilometres west north-west of Paynes Find, bordering the Fields Find-Paynes Find Road. There are many scattered shafts, small trenches, and small mullock heaps trending north-east to south-west either side of the road for about 1 kilometre. Isolated shafts are found on trend at further distances to this.

Gold was initially found in a gully on the east side of a low hill by Taylor and Deighton in 1892, making it one of the first gold discoveries in the district. The gold had been shed from the Baron Rothschild reef, which was later opened up, and was the dominant mine historically on the field.

Generally speaking, the field saw some small short lived mines, and several small alluvial rushes to outlying areas. This occurred from the mid 1890's to around 1908. The Trump Mine produced some small tonnages in the late 1930's. Modern exploration has not found anything sufficiently economic to mine
