The Mary Lena Gold Mine is an abandoned open pit, 5 kilometres north of Marvel Loch. It is reached via a mine road which heads north of Marvel Loch passing several open pits including Treasury, Triad, and Lenneburg. The road should not be used if active mining is taking place in the area.

The open pit was developed by Sons of Gwalia Ltd in the 1990's, with ore processed at its Marvel Loch facility. No historic information could be found about the site.

The open pit is 100 metres west of the road, with the partly rehabilitated tailings heap blocking access. Chalcedony was found on the tailings heap when visited.
