Little was found other than names and crushings. The mine is south-east of the Cremorne Gold Mine, on the eastern edge of the field, with only the True Blue further east.
For most of its life from around 1900 to 1912, it was owned and mined by a prospector named H. Oldfield, and J.F. Larkham (which is spelt various ways in the sources). Oldfield and Sangster is noted in 1911. The mine was active across the entire period with many crushings. From around 1910 to 1912, the mine was re-named Lone Hand.
Various other names were found. In 1902 it was owned by Oldfield, Phillips and Parry. One source states Thomas and Mclean own the mine in 1907, but Oldfield returns subsequently. In 1914, J. Millane owns the mine.
Until 1916, the mine had produced 365 tonnes of ore for 839 ounces of gold (GML 1057T).
In 1946, a party led by A. Rymer, were re-opening the Riddle and True Blue leases.
