Upper level Quarry in Serpentine/Tremolite. Opened in 1898 by William B. Reed of Easton, just above the old Scherrer's Quarry, exploited for ornamental/building material Serpentine or "verdolite". Both quarries eventually became part of C.K. Williams Quarry complex. These two original quarries are the original/primary sites of origin for most older mineralogical studies and specimens from the area.
*Site noted seperately to aid the locality search for older labeled specimens.
