The 1896 Golden Mile map, names the Shotover Gold Mine, as a small triangular lease on the far eastern edge of the Golden Mile. It was bordered to the north by the Brownhill South Extended lease, west and south by the Royal Mint lease. Unfortunately, no information could be found of the lease under the Shotover name, and is needed.
