GML 255. 9 acres. Gibb-Maitland names it as Alexander. Only two newspaper articles found, one spelling it Alexander, the other Alexandra. It is assumed the second one is a mistake.
Adjacent to the south of the Western Chief mine. It was on the same reef as this lease, and that for the Young Australia lease. A shaft had been sunk 47 feet deep, on the reef 8 inches thick.
Noted in 1898 as owned by Farquharson and party.
