A former surface and underground W-Au mine located in the SW ¼ sec. 24, T.6N., R.15W. Produced in 1951. Owned at times, or in part, by Brusco; Wood & Huthmacher; Aplington; Floreen & Associates; and, Fleming.

Mineralization is small grains and pods of scheelite in discontinuous quartz lenses in Mesozoic calcareous schist and in quartz fissure veins in Laramide granitic intrusive. There is strong fracturing and associated diabase dikes.

This mine was worked from shafts, adits, pits, tunnels and open cuts from 1951 to the present (1978), producing some 1,200 tons of ore yielding about 600 units of WO3.
