Two oreshoots were worked here. The South Busty Vein consisted of barytes where it trended E-W, but the infilling changed to witherite, 4-16ft wide, where the vein changed direction to NE-SW.
The second vein was the Tow Law Vein which was 4-6ft of good witherite.
Production is said to have been 22,000 tons between 1921 and 1931.
