(Ambindandrakemba, Kaominina Tranomaro, Distrikan'i Amboasary, Faritra Anosy, Faritanin'i Toliary, Madagasikara)

One of the most important thorianite mines in the Tranomaro area in the southeastern part of Madagascar. It is situated about 5 km nord-east of the town Tranomaro. From 1958 to 1963 it was worked as a open pit with a depth of about 50 meter. Also refered to as Ambindandrakemba 1.
