A copper and cobalt mine which also produced pyrite for sulphuric acid production. Ore is compact, massive "Kieslager"-type sulphides, hosted in conglomerate in chlorite schist. ("Shiratshi" mine is a misnomer from Rocks & Min.: 22:223)
