Ref.: Geology and Mineral Resources of Japan (Geological Survey of Japan, 1960); Rocks & Min.: 22:224. A cobalt mine. Located 20 km from Shingu. Mineralization in 6 mesothermal Cu-Co-bearing quartz veins in Mesozoic rocks, related to a Miocene granite porphyry intrusion.
