Historic lease to the north-east of the Comet mine. Grants Creek section, 10 kilometres east north-east of the Alice Downs homestead. On the lease is a series of quartz leaders, with two shafts sunk. One to 30 feet deep on a gossany iron stone reef, 2 to 3 feet wide, in mica schist, without well marked walls. The other shaft was down to 60 feet.
The stone contained much chalcopyrite, malachite, galena, pyrite, with the gold. No crushings reported.
