Located between the Carlow Castle and Fortune copper mines.
Maitland states that the mine was one mile north of the Fortune mine. The lode trends east-west, and dips north. The ore channel is narrow, and hosted by coarse gabbro. A shaft had been sunk down to 36 feet, and a shallow open cut developed to the west of the shaft by 50 feet.
Co-ordinates are approximate for one of the unnamed collapsed shafts.
