Located 15.7 kilometres west of the Wonmunna copper mine. Hosted by grey to purplish grey shale, containing nodules up to 5 cms across of limonite stained by malachite, cuprite, and chrysocolla. When inspected in the mid 1970's, cut by north-south costeans, along a 140 metre strike, and 25 metre wide zone.
The Mindat co-ordinates are very approximate, and only denote the geographic Mount Robinson. Maps state there is a Mount Robinson Mine on the eastern edge of the mountain, but it is unconfirmed it relates to this deposit, nor could any workings be seen.
