Sadiola Hill, Kayes Region, Mali

An open pit gold mine 80 Km south west of Kayes. Located in the Sadiola Fracture Zone, Kenieba-Kedougou window in a deep kaolin rich clayey saprolite zone. Largest mine in Mali with a production of 12 t gold/year. Reserves 33 Mt grading 3.2 g/t containing 3.3 Moz gold.
