Description: Calcite has been found in several cavities at Narre Warren as small dog tooth shaped crystals.

Chabazite-K
Formula: (K2,Ca,Na2,Sr,Mg)2[Al2Si4O12]2 · 12H2O
Description: Chabazite occurs in a few cavities associated with siderite as drusy crusts and colourless interpenetrating twins up to 1 mm across usually in the clay-pyrite breccia. The chabazite from Narre Warren is unusually rich in magnesium.

Fluorapophyllite-(K)
Formula: KCa4(Si8O20)(F,OH) · 8H2O
Description: "The crystals of Fluorapophyllite-(K) are generally equidimensional to slightly tabular, parallel to (001). The 001 'faces' may be rough and slightly convex. While single crystals up to 6mm across and groups of two or more inter-grown individuals may occur they are generally found as continuous crusts. They range from colourless to white, this variation often occurring within individual crystals. On a number of specimens the apophyllite crystals are skeletal due to severe etching."

Description: "Phillipsite is relatively common in the Narre Warren quarry, where it occurs as colourless, fourling and eightling-twinned crystals up to 3mm long. Rare orange phillipsite crystals up to 0.5mm across have also been found."

Description: At the Narre Warren quarry "The pyrite veining the brecciated clay is generally massive but may form bright, hemispherical groups of multiply-twinned crystals up to 1 cm across in open spaces. The only other occurrence of pyrite is as microscopic capillary growths associated with phillipsite crystals in some of the cavities."

Description: As scattered hieroglyphic and skeleton monocrystalline crystals, as grain boundary precipitates, as inclusions in cohenite, and as ubiquitous rhabdites (Buchwald, 1975).

Siderite
Formula: FeCO3
Description: Siderite from Narre Warren generally occurs as lustrous hemispheres up to 1 cm in diameter, with colour ranging from golden brown to chocolate brown. Most noted from Narre Warren is the "basket weave" form of siderite which is where siderite has had a secondary growth through the srinkage cracks in the blue montmorillonite.
