Named by Otter Exploration NL in the early 1980's. Described as at the north end of the airstrip (now badly faded). Pioneer B, the David Group of prospects, and several others are in the immediate area. There is the possibility some of these deposits are the same, named differently by various exploration companies over the decades, but is difficult to confirm.
Otter states the prospect contains steep dipping schist, forming prominent hills, with skarns outcropping on the western side of the hills, with copper, zinc and trace scheelite values in gossanous shear zones. The eastern side of the hills contains outcropping quartz veins with trace malachite.
Mindat map denotes airstrip about mid way along its north-south extent.
