Vallone Donna Angelica, Tiriolo, Catanzaro, Calabria, Italia

Thermometamorphic marl limestones at contact with dioritic intrusions, along the Donna Angelica valley, at SE of Tiriolo village.

N.B.: The presence of zeolites in this geologic contest is confutable. For this reason analcime and mesolite are re-exposed in dubitative form even if cited in some references. The presence of gahnite, instead, was re-exposed in dubitative form because never found in recent probed searchs. Most probably gahnite is only a Zn-rich spinel.
