A porphyry copper-gold deposit. The open pit mine, started in 1977, was backfilled after its closure. After an exploration in 2003 located another 91.78 million tons of ore, mining re-commenced in 2007.
Located 8 miles west of Kamloops on the Trans Canada Highway at an elevation of 2400 feet.
