The Sarfartoq Niobium-deposit is located in a valley about 50 km SSE of Kangerlussuaq airport. The Pyrochlore is accumulated as vein shaped bodies in a marginal zone around the central part of the carbonatite mass. The main carbonatite is low in Niobium.
