Three assay tunnels dug by AGIP Minerary Activities Dep., around 1300 m above sea level at Costa Magrera. The area is not very far from the most famous uranium mine of Novazza. The U minerals are included into a metamorphic sandstone rich of volcanic clasts "Verrucano Lombardo".
