Monte Mulazzo (Monte Mulatto), Predazzo, Val di Fiemme, Trento, Trentino Alto Adige, Italia
Near Predazzo village, there is the occurrence of the Predazzo-Monzoni intrusive complex represented by two great outcrops: the first one surrounds the igneous rock mass of Mt. Mulazzo, the second is represented by the Monzoni Mts. The lithotypes of the area are various and seem to show a gradual transition from ultrafemic rocks to gabbros and diorites, monzonites, syenites and granites. There is also a massive presence of veins. In this situation, near Predazzo, at the base of Mulazzo Mt, have been found many radioactive minerals, usually of small size or included into granite mass, which occurs also along SS 48 road, just out of Predazzo Village.
Pegmatite veins and quartz-tourmaline veins.
