A former small surface and underground Cu-Pb-Ag-Zn-Au mine owned at times by the Ajax Metal Mining Co. and the Arizona Consolidated Metal Producers Corp. Located in North-central sec. 30, T.16S., R. 31 E. on private land (11 patented claims). Owned by A.F. Noland and operated by Ajax Metal Mining Co.; Arizona Consolidated Metal Producers Corp.; and Doran And Gallagher.
Mineralization is base metal sulfides and their oxidation products in irregular veins and disseminations in late Cretaceous to Tertiary conglomerates derived from volcanic rocks and cut by Tertiary silicic porphyry dikes. Host rock unit is the Nipper Formation.
Workings include a shaft and adit. About 100 tons of ore were produced intermittently from 1909 to 1918.
