The minerals were found during the construction of the Sandbekken School (Sandbekken ungdomsskole) at Løvenstad. In a hydrothermal altered camptonite vein in "ultrabasite". Today, there is no access to the locality, being under the school. Samples from this locality has erronously been labelled "Blystadlia".
