A surface placer W deposit and former W mine located T.16S., R.22E, on land of unknown status.
Mineralization is scattered placer hübnerite in erosion rubble derived from quartz veins cutting altered Laramide quartz monzonite (Texas Canyon stock).
Workings were handpicking operations and small wet and dry separators. Several tons of tungsten concentrates were produced in the early 1900's.
