A former Zn-Cu-Mo-W (Be) prospect with surface and underground workings located in the SW ¼ sec. 6, T.16S., R.23E. (Dragoon 7.5 minute topo map), about 2.5 miles (4 km) north of Dragoon, on private land. Owned by Mrs. Thomas Adams (1955).
Mineralization is a replacement deposit of sparsely disseminated sulfides and powellite in pyrometasomatic mantos in Cambrian Abrigo Limestone, and includes oxidized copper minerals. Alteration is recrystallized limestone. An associated rock unit is the Texas Canyon Quartz Monzonite.
Local structures include NW-trending Tertiary block faulting.
Workings include a shaft(s) and diamond drill holes. No production is recorded.
