A former small underground Cu-Pb-Zn-Ag-Au mine located in the NW ΒΌ sec. 11, T.24S., R.20E, approximately 5 miles SE of Wakefield Camp. Operated by the Alto Mining, Milling & Smelting Co.

Mineralization is partly oxidized base metal sulfides in irregular replacement orebodies in exotic blocks of Paleozoic limestone along a fault zone in Triassic-Jurassic volcanics. Ore control was the fault zone.

Workings include 2 shafts and 3 tunnels. Irregular, minor production occurred in 1921-1924.
