A former small surface and underground Cu-Ag-Au mine located in South-central sec. 3 & North-central sec. 10, T.23S., R.19E. (Huachuca Peak 7.5 minute topo map), 11.75 (1.75 ?) miles NNE of Sunnyside. First produced 1916. Owned/operated by the Copper Dog Mining Co.
Mineralization is irregular oxidized copper mineralization in fault fissure veins associated with a Tertiary microgranodiorite dike or sill cutting Cretaceous Bisbee Group Glance Conglomerate and andesitic volcanics.
Workings include tunnel and surface openings. Some 30 tons of ore were produced in 1916.
