Mofjellet grube, Mofjellet, Rana (Mo i Rana), Nordland, Norge
Base metal (zinc, lead, copper) deposit, hosted by metapelitic quartz-mica-feldspar gneisses and amphibolites. Good specimens of
apophyllite-(KOH) occurred in cracks and vugs in a 20 cm wide tectonic zone, about 70 -80 m below the sea level, within one of the ore lenses (Larsen 1981).
