A former small underground Cu-Pb-Au-Ag mine located in sec. 36, T.22S., R.23E. (Bisbee 7.5 minute topo map), approximately 2 miles NW of Bisbee, on private land. Produced 1906-1908. Owned by the Mountain View Development Co. Operated by Mr.William Truax And Mr. Oliver Dane, Mountain View Development Co. (1908).
Mineralization is oxidized copper with minor lead ores in irregular quartz veins in Jurassic granite porphyry.
Workings include 2 shallow shafts to a depth of 76.2 meters and a tunnel. A few tons of ore were produced in 1906-1908.
