A silica quarry (smelter flux) located in the SW ¼ sec. 24, T.18S., R.19E. Discovered 1923. First produced 1950.

Mineralization is a large bull quartz body between Precambrian alaskite and quartz monzonite.

Workings are an open cut. Several tens of thousand tons of quartz were produced from 1955 to 1959.
