An underground Au mine located in NE¼ sec. 26, T1N, R17W, near Ocotillo, and near the west end of the Geyser lode, northern S.H. Mountains, on federal land.
Mineralization is an approximate 5 foot wide vein. Ore is brecciated biotite andesite cemented principally by calcite with some gold-bearing, iron-stained material. The gold is spotty, finely divided, free gold in fractures and breccia with gouge, calcite, and iron and manganese oxides, in andesitic volcanics.
Workings include a shallow shaft and drift.
