A Au mine on several claims, located in SW ¼ sec. 32, T1N, R16W (MRDS = sec. 36, T1N, R17W), on the W side of Red Raven Wash, on federal land.
Mineralization is spotty, finely divided, free gold in fractures and breccia with gouge, calcite, and iron and manganese oxides, in red andesite porphyry that trends about N.70ºW. and crops out in several places along the wash. It is from 10 to 40 feet wide, is partly silicified, and contains a 3 foot (0.91 meter) wide calcite vein.
Workings include a 100 foot (30.48 meter) deep shaft and shallow discovery holes.
