A former surface and underground Cu-Au-Ag-Fe mine located in the NE¼ sec. 1, T7N, R13W (Salome 15 minute topo map), on land of unknown status. Owned and operated by Mr. Davis (1918).
Mineralization is spotty, oxidized copper and gold values associated with specular hematite and limonite along fissure veins in Precambrian metamorphics.
Workings include a shallow shaft, adit and open cut workings. It was mined intermittently, about 1912-1918. Some 120 tons of ore averaging about 10% Cu, 0.3 oz. Au/T and 1.0 oz. Ag/T.
