A former Au-Ag-Fe-W mine located in the NE¼ sec. 2, T.2S., R.17W, on federal land. Owned and operated by Linder & Findley of Arizona (1910).
Mineralization is spotty, weak and irregular, fine-grained gold with sparse scheelite grains in a quartz-iron oxide gangue along fissures and fractures in metamorphic Mesozoic schist and shale cut by rhyolite and pegmatitic dikes.
Workings include a shaft(s) and tunnel operations. Mined mainly in the early 1900's for gold, and later prospected for tungsten. There was a small production of gold ore.
