A former underground Au-Ag-Cu mine located in North-central (center N½)sec. 23, T3N, R20W, on land of unknown status. Owned/operated at times, or in part, by Carlson; and, McMillan Brothers.

Mineralization is small quartz veinlets and stringers with spotty gold, silver and minor copper minerals along bedding planes in Mesozoic sediments.

Workings include a shaft(s) and tunnels. It produced some 176 tons of ore averaging about 1 oz. Au/T, 0.2 oz. Ag/T and a few hundred pounds of copper, from 1936 through 1942.
