A former underground Au-Ag mine located in the SE ΒΌ, sec. 35, T6N, R21W. Owned at times, or in part, by the Moon Mountain Gold Mining Co.; and, the Mohave Mining Co.
Mineralization is spotty gold and silver with minor, partly oxidized, sulfides in lensing quartz veins along a fracture zone in Mesozoic metamorphic rocks intruded by a small Laramide rhyolitic plug.
Workings include a shaft(s) and tunnel openings. This mine was worked from 1935 through 1950. It produced some 330 tons of ore averaging about 2.4 oz. Au/T and 0.4 oz. Ag/T.
