A former surface and underground W mine located in West-central sec. 27, T8N, R20W, 0.6 miles NE of the Darling Mine. Owned by the Gold Hill Dredging Co.

Mineralization is sporadic scheelite in garnet-epidote tactite along Mesozoic quartz-biotite schist and limestone contact, and in related fractures where cut by quartz veins. Idocrase (vesuvianite) rock in schist.

Workings include a shaft(s) and open cut operations worked in 1943-1944, and in the 1950's. It produced some 4,000 or more tons of about 0.4% WO3 ore. In 1943-1944, 368 tons of sorted ore containing 433 units of WO3 were shipped to the Metals Reserve Co.
