A former surface and underground Cu-Au-Ag-marble mine located in South-central sec. 1, T8N, R16W (Swansea 15 minute topo map). Owned at times, or in part, by the Arizona Midway Copper Co.; and, Chisholm.
Mineralization is spotty, oxidized, copper mineralization in Precambrian schist containing limestone bands. Some high-grade copper pods. Limited exposure of varicolored marble bounded by schist.
Workings include shallow workings and prospects developed around 1917 but very limited, if any, production.
