A former underground Cu-Au-Ag mine located in the NE¼ sec. 28, T9N, R16W (protracted) (Swansea 15 minute topo map), on land of unknown status. Owned by Fleming & Aplington.
Mineralization is spotty oxidized copper minerals in a quartz vein cutting Precambrian gneiss and schist.
Workings include an old shaft mine reopened and worked from 1953 through 1954. It then produced some 200 tons of ore averaging about 1.3% Cu, 0.2 oz. Au/T, and 0.1 oz. Ag/T.
