A former surface and underground Mn-Be mine located in the NW¼ & North-central (SW¼NW¼NE¼) sec. 35, T4N, R16W. Owned by Huthmacker (1955).

Mineralization is lenticular bodies and irregular, discontinuous masses of manganese oxides with brecciated wall rock and calcite along fracture zones in Cretaceous or Tertiary andesitic tuff and agglomerate remnant in rhyolite. Traces of beryllium have been reported.

Workings include adit and open cut operations. This mine was worked from 1953 into 1955, producing some 815 long tons of sorted 20% Mn ore.
