A former underground Au-Ag-Fe mine located in the SE¼NW¼NE¼ sec. 7, T3N, R17W (protracted), on land of unknown status. Owned by Mr. Scott (1911).
Mineralization is a gold-quartz vein with limonite after pyrite in a shear zone in highly metamorphosed and deformed mixture of Precambrian to Mesozoic sediments and volcanics.
Workings include a shaft(s). This mine was worked about 1909 through 1911. It produced close to 100 tons of ore averaging about 3.8 oz. Au/T and 0.8 oz. Ag/T.
