A former underground Ag-Pb-Au-Cu mine.
A Au-Ag-Pb-Cu mine located in the NE¼ sec. 7 (center NE¼ sec. 12 per MRDS), T2N, R17W, on federal land. Owned at times, or in part, by Livingston; and, the Paisano Mining Co. (1946).
Mineralization is spotty gold, silver, lead and minor copper ores in a lensing quartz vein along a fault zone in Mesozoic sediments.
Workings include shaft and tunnel operations. This mine was worked sporadically from 1936 through 1942. It produced some 90 tons of ore averaging about 0.6 oz. Au/T, 0.8 oz. Ag/T and 0.4% Pb.
